Our Wedding

It began, as the best things often do, without intention. A sunlit afternoon on February 13, 2022, as the light softened and the day slipped gently toward sunset.On the pickleball courts in Delray Beach, Florida, a simple introduction turned into something quietly meaningful before we even realized it. Zach was visiting from out of town; Jaimie was simply there, playing a game that would, in its own unassuming way, change everything.What started as a casual rally stretched into hours — easy, unhurried, as though neither of us felt the need to be anywhere else. There was a comfort between us from the very beginning. Familiar, yet new. Light, yet impossible to ignore.When the games came to an end, neither of us was quite ready to say goodnight. Jaimie mentioned she needed to head home to walk her dog and offered to drop Zach off along the way. Without hesitation, he offered to come with her — an ordinary moment that would quietly become one of our favorites.From there, everything began to fall into place.What followed was never about grand gestures, but about the little things — laughter that came easily, time that felt well spent no matter what we were doing, and a growing sense that this was something worth holding onto. We found joy in the everyday, in the simple rhythm of being together, in choosing each other without ever needing to question it.It wasn’t rushed. It wasn’t complicated. It simply felt right. And somehow, that made it everything.Now, as we step into this next chapter, we carry that same feeling with us — warm, certain, and full of love.Somehow, it was always meant to be.

When and where is the wedding?Our wedding will take place on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at Longleaf Vineyard in Marshall, North Carolina, just outside of Asheville. The ceremony will begin at one thirty in the afternoon. What is the dress code?Semi-formal. We invite you to dress in elevated garden / vineyard attire. What should this feel like?Relaxed, romantic, and effortless. We’ve imagined a day that feels like an exhale—unhurried, intentional, and full of the people we love most. We recommend comfortable footwear suitable for grass and uneven ground. Will there be parking at the venue?Yes, parking will be available at the venue for guests. Will transportation be provided?Yes, transportation will be provided to and from the venue, though it is not required. For full details, please visit the Transportation page located in the main menu. Where should we stay?We recommend staying in downtown Asheville, close to everything. We’ve reserved a small room block for you at the Flat Iron Hotel—details can be found on Where to Stay page. If you choose to stay somewhere else we highly recommend staying at one of the very many amazing hotels in downtown Asheville. What airport should I fly into?The closest airport is Asheville Regional Airport (AVL), approximately 15 min from downtown Asheville. Alternatively, Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) is about a 2-hour drive. Are children invited?While we love your little ones, this will be mainly an adults-only celebration. Can we bring a guest?Because our wedding is intentionally small, we’re only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Thank you so much for understanding. Arrival Directions to Longleaf Vineyard

- Mt. Airy Road is gravel, so please drive slowly and with care.- The road will transition into Hallaran Drive and become paved.- Continue straight through the gates as the road splits into three.- Please take the one-way road to the left, following signs for Events &amp; Tours.- Continue along this road and park in the designated lot at the base of the venue.

Guests who reserved this service are kindly asked to meet in the main lobby of The Flat Iron Hotel no later than 12:10 pm. The vans will depart promptly at 12:20 pm for Longleaf Vineyard.

4:10pm - 4:30pm

The vans will arrive at Longleaf Vineyard by 4:10 PM and will depart promptly at 4:30 PM for dinner at The Flat Iron Hotel.

We have a limited block of 10 rooms reserved, offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
